Behind its classical white frontage with gilded Corinthian capitals and pediment detailing, Boyuk Saray has a vast chandelier-lit interior that feels like a 21st-century Versailles. This festival of glitz is an exclusive address that’s best known for hosting celebrity weddings but it also turns its attention to concerts and fashion shows and would make for a luxurious conference or meeting venue. The palatial complex can host around 2000 guests. It’s in the Neftchiler suburb, famed for its plethora of wedding venues, around 8km east of the city center.
