While little known outside the Caucasus, Nakhchivan is a disconnected exclave of Azerbaijan with its own distinctive attributes including a particular take on cuisine. Nakhchivan Restaurant is unusual in Baku for offering top quality Nakhchivani and Azerbaijani specialties in a warmly upmarket, European atmosphere with design elements giving a gentle resonance with the styles of the first oil boom of around a century ago.
