The 7th ACM-W Europe Celebration of Women in Computing: womENcourage 2020 will be held in Baku, Azerbaijan at the ADA University.
ACM has formed a new ACM Technology Policy Council to coordinate the agenda for its policy activities around the globe. The newly-launched council will serve as the central convening point for ACM’s interaction with government organizations, the computing community, and the public in matters of public policy related to information technology and computing. The TPC oversees ACM’s policy work globally and coordinates ACM’s efforts across national, regional, and international policy arenas. In the United States, the ACM US Technology Policy Committee (USTPC) serves as the focal point for interactions with US policy leaders. Similarly, the ACM Europe Technology Policy Committee (EUTPC) interacts with policy leaders in Europe. Lorraine Kisselburgh, Fellow at Purdue University’s Center for Education and Research in Information Assurance and Security (CERIAS), is the group’s Chair.
